Summer won Best Of Opposit Sex from the Veterens class (over 31 younger female goldens) at the Golden Gate Kennel Club dog show in 2008 at 8 years old. We could not be more proud of "Sum-Sum Summer Time" as her handler Ellen Cotthingham calls her.

Summer is a beautiful dark gold color, weighs 60 lbs, and is a gentle, level headed girl. Summer is s daughter of Peppercreek Whistler ( BIS BISS Am.Ch. Sassafras Batterys Not Incld OS, SDHF & Ch. Lacamas Mocha Motion) and Foxfires TK Holy Smoke ( BIS BISS Am. CH. Goodtime's Best Case Scenario CD, JH, WC, VCX, OS, SDHF & Am CH Foxfire's Jambalaya) Summer is a feminine, soft and affectionate girl. Summer retired in June of 2007 and will be spending her time watching her children, and soon grand children excel, as she has. Summer has amazing kids training in a variety of competitive arenas and living as family companions. She is the ideal Golden Retriever. Her kids are excelling in the conformation, Obedience and Agility rings. She has been an ambassador for Goldens by working with children and adults who were fearful of dogs. Her wonderful temperament and love of life has won over all who have met her.

Summer is always the first to greet any visiters to Starchaser Golden Retrievers.
